Air Andorra latest airline to join ERA

Air Andorra was set up by a group of aviation experts and entrepreneurs with extensive experience in cargo and passenger airlines and business aviation in countries including Spain, Brazil, Panama and Colombia.

The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) is delighted to welcome Air Andorra into membership. The start-up airline joins a further 50 airlines at the association who, collectively, make a major contribution to economic growth in Europe.

Air Andorra was set up by a group of aviation experts and entrepreneurs with extensive experience in cargo and passenger airlines and business aviation in countries including Spain, Brazil, Panama and Colombia.

Air Andorra’s managing director, Rafael Calabria, says that ERA’s strong connections with Europe’s regulatory bodies and determination to protect the interests of regional airlines in Europe were key to the airline’s decision to join the association. “As a new regional airline we are extremely pleased to join ERA. We believe that it is the perfect environment for networking and holding constructive meetings with aircraft manufacturers and other regional airlines. For Air Andorra, joining the association is like becoming a member of an elite club where we can form strong business relationships with senior market practitioners.”

Director general of ERA, Simon McNamara, notes: “The addition of Air Andorra to ERA’s membership is great news. This start-up airline symbolises the spirit of ERA members who work hard to generate new business across Europe in often challenging conditions. I am sure that Air Andorra will help to develop significant new business opportunities for the Andorran region. ERA is looking forward to working with Air Andorra on the many issues that affect the European regional aviation community and towards a prosperous future for the airline.”
