The attractions and conference background of Poznan and the region, including local hotels, Poznan Congress Center, Wasowo Palace, Olandia – a land of leisure and conferences, and many more, were presented to the participants of the event.
Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation continues the promotional campaign under the project “Let’s promote Poland together” on the next European markets: Spanish, Irish and Italian. Between 2 and 5 October 2013 the first study visit took place, it was a fam trip for organisers of meetings and events. The attractions and conference background of Poznan and the region, including local hotels, Poznan Congress Center, Wasowo Palace, Olandia – a land of leisure and conferences, and many more, were presented to the participants of the event.
Moreover, the visitors had a chance to get to know the history and culture of the city. The next and last fam trip in 2013 is scheduled for December, it will be held in Karakow and the region for the representatives of the Spanish industry. Whereas in 2014 Warsaw and the region will host Italian organisers of meetings and events.
Moreover, the PCB of the Polish Tourist Organisation arranges Roadshow presentations on priority markets that aim at demonstrating the Polish conference offer and attractiveness of the regions. Both the industry representatives – companies having recommendation from the PCB of the Polish Tourist Organisation, as well as regional Convention Bureaux, are invited to take part in the presentations. All presentations on the European markets will be held this year in October – Spain, in November – Italy and Spain and in December – Ireland. The Roadshow formula provides for both presentation of the PCB of the Polish Tourist Organisation, as well as time devoted to workshops and individual business talks.
Additionally, an internet and press campaign on priority markets will be carried out under the project, and a publication “Polska. Site Inspection” will be issued which will include the most important information on organisation of meetings and events in Poland.
