Ashfield Meetings & Events move on up

The new office, located next to Ashfield Divisions headquarters, is now fully occupied and home to seven client facing account teams, the dedicated Venue Finding, Travel and Engagement teams in addition to support functions such as Sales Support, Business Development, Marketing, HR, Finance and Training and Development.

Ashfield Meeting & Events is delighted to announce it is now fully operational in its new Global Headquarters at Charter House located in Ashby de La Zouch. The move follows a string of new client wins, expansion of services and the launch of SPARK THINKING.

The new office, located next to Ashfield Divisions headquarters, is now fully occupied and home to seven client facing account teams, the dedicated Venue Finding, Travel and Engagement teams in addition to support functions such as Sales Support, Business Development, Marketing, HR, Finance and Training and Development. Medex-Media will continue to operate from their specialist office in Tytherington, Macclesfield, the headquarters from where they deliver over 70 international projects annually.

The office space is shared with the exciting new brand SPARK THINKING who offer a complementary, agile and innovative consultancy resource designed to enhance the effectiveness of live events and communication strategies. SPARK THINKING helped welcome the staff to the new office by projection mapping branding and key internal messages on to the building and providing interactive creative workshops.
 
Nicola Burns, Global Managing Director, commented “The recent increase in new clients and projects has seen growth across our UK operation, this along with the launch of SPARK THINKING, was motivation to move to a bigger premises. The space is 50 percent bigger than our previous office and has been converted and designed to our specification to meet the needs of the business and encourage fresh thinking and collaboration. The new space provides a wonderful environment from which to run a global business, welcome clients and staff to grow and develop”.

Luke Flett, Head of Marketing, added “The new office includes purpose built creative spaces for staff to begin to visualise projects and explore innovative solutions for our clients. We are also driving collaboration through hot desking in order to create an atmosphere for our talented staff that feels inspirational, motivating and where ideas generate and work feels like fun.’
