Ms. Rica Rwigamba, Head of Tourism and Conservation, Rwanda Development Board, talks about tourism development in Rwanda at WTM London 2012. This interview was taken by Scott Wayne President of SW Associates (www.sw-associates.net) on behalf of TravelDailyNews International.
TravelDailyNews: We are at the WTM in London with Rica Rwigamba, the head of Tourism and Conservation for Rwanda and she has very good news to tell us about tourism developments in Rwanda and how Rwanda is diversifying tourism beyond gorillas. Hello Rica.
TDN: Now, we know that Rwanda went to top ranking by the World Economic Forum’s Tourism Competitiveness for sustainability, tourism sustainability, and the British Guild of Travel Writers recognized Rwanda for Nyungwe Nziza Project as a prime example of sustainability. Can you tell us a little bit more about the project and how it’s contributing to sustainability in Sounthern Rwanda?
Question 3:
Last but not least the Guild recognizes this project as a prime example of sustainability and these are the two awards, if you could show these to us?
