For the fourth year in a row, ACTA`s membership has maintained positive net growth as the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies stated. With the addition of 219 new members joining its ranks, ACTA continues to embody the vast majority of the retail travel industry across Canada.

“ACTA is the association of choice for travel agencies”, said Christiane Theberge, President and CEO of ACTA. “This steady increase in membership shows that our members recognize and appreciate the real benefits and advantages of belonging to ACTA. We thank our members for their support, and we will continue to work at representing and defending their interests in our constantly evolving retail travel industry.”

“Even with the ongoing trend of mergers and acquisitions, ACTA continues to represent all sizes of agency within the retail industry with 60% of its members being agencies with 4 or less travel professionals.”
