Over 180 senior executives including representatives from 29 airlines, along with other regional aviation experts from across the industry’s sector, will discuss issues that are impacting the prosperity of regional aviation in Europe.
A record number of Europe’s senior regional airline and support industry representatives are meeting in Rome at the European Regions Airline Association’s (ERA’s) annual Regional Airline Conference on 15 and 16 April. Over 180 senior executives including representatives from 29 airlines, along with other regional aviation experts from across the industry’s sector, will discuss issues that are impacting the prosperity of regional aviation in Europe.
ERA’s president, Boet Kreiken, and director general, Simon McNamara, will host the conference where industry luminaries including Claudio Trevisan, head of air operations department, EASA, Margus Rahuoja, director of aviation and international transport affairs at the European Commission, Michael Standar, chief strategies and external relations at SESAR JU, and Jean-Louis Colson, passenger rights specialist at the European Commission, will also be taking part. Inspirational speaker, Hamish Taylor, former CEO of Eurostar and Sainsbury’s Bank and previous head of brand management for British Airways, will close the conference with a session on the importance of putting the customer at the centre of a business.
As well as bringing together industry leaders, CEOs and senior management executives to network, delegates will enjoy briefings on the future working relationship with Europe’s regulators, airline finance and the impact and latest developments of EU Regulation 261/2004 on passenger rights.
