Influential Members of Congress and high-level White House officials will address attendees at the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) 10th Annual Legislative Action Summit (LAS), March 12-14, in Washington, D.C. Topics of concern on this year’s agenda include immigration reform, protecting an employees’ right to a private ballot, and extension of terrorism risk insurance coverage.



On Tuesday, March 13, attendees will convene at the White House for a briefing with Barry Jackson, deputy assistant to President George W. Bush for strategic initiatives, and Candi Wolff, assistant to the President for legislative affairs, as well as other Administration officials.



The 2nd Annual HotelPAC Congressional Dinner with Members of Congress takes place Tuesday evening. Attendees will hear from Representatives Dan Boren (D-Ok.) and Tom Price (R-Ga.), to name a few. On the morning of Wednesday, March 14, attendees will hear from Members of Congress, as well as from U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez. The afternoon will be spent on Capitol Hill meeting with legislators. The Summit concludes with a Congressional Reception. Confirmed speakers include:
