The new chapter comes under the leadership of Ursula Hahn as its managing director. A seasoned professional with extensive sales and marketing expertise in hospitality for more than 35 years, Hahn has worked for leading hotel companies, individual properties and tour operators throughout Mexico.

Mexico City is the country’s second chapter, with the Mexican Caribbean one maintaining a strong constituency of 80 members.

On hand to officially launch the chapter was Lic. Antonio Enriquez Savignac, former minister of tourism for Mexico, former president of the World Organization Tourism for seven years, and the driving force behind developing Cancun as a destination.
