IACC increases global membership

Peter Stewart, Global President of IACC commented, "I welcome the Chateauform’ members to IACC and congratulate our European Chapter on their successful growth strategies. These wonderful Seminar Houses and City venues will be popular with meeting planners in the region and globally; they are a great addition to our membership.”

NEW YORK, NY – Mark Cooper, CEO of IACC (the International Association of Conference Centres) announced that the association has expanded its global membership exponentially with the addition of 38 specialist Chateauform’ conference venues.

According to Jacques Horovitz, Founder and CEO, “each of these tailor-made venues have been designed for company meetings, training events and workshops where work and relaxation are seamlessly combined and participants can take time out for reflection.”

At Chateauform’ Seminar Houses, guests are looked after by a Host Couple, the master and mistress of the house. Quite literally, the house becomes a home away from home. During the course of the meeting, the host couple and their team are completely dedicated to the wellbeing of delegates. The hosts are the principal contact with clients throughout the entire day. The concept is very much: ‘welcome into our home, whatever you need, we are here to provide’.

According to Cooper, with the addition of these 38 properties situated in France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland, IACC’s aim to represent the very best conference centres globally, has taken a major step forward and increased the number of meeting venues available to Meeting Planners who trust the IACC brand as a quality that comes from membership.

Cooper states, “each of these stunning seminar houses are completely aligned with IACC’s vision, mission statement, and quality standards. They offer clients the benefits of the fully packaged Complete Meeting Package and are entirely focused on meetings business and to providing exceptional meeting experiences.”

Within Chateauform’, there are three brands. The residential property group, known as Chateauform’ Seminar Houses, the residential campus property, known as Chateauform’ Les Campus, and the non-residential properties known as Chateauform’ City. The four members under the “City” brand located in Paris and Geneva will complement IACC’s non-residential members in other major international cities such as London, New York, Tokyo and Sydney.

IACC’s European Chapter President – Jeu Bressers said, “I am delighted to warmly welcome Chateauform’ to the IACC family as our European Chapter continues to grow. Chateauform’ shares IACC’s passion for providing the very best meeting venues and their collection of Seminar Houses meet the standards of facilities and services that our customers expect.”

In addition to being the Founder and CEO of Chateauform’, Jacques Horovitz is Professor Emeritus of Service Strategy, Service Marketing and Service Management at IMD, the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland. In his lectures and publications, he focuses on how to compete through service, customer centricity and improve customer satisfaction with heavy emphasis on service as a strategy for differentiation, on customer loyalty and on creating a service culture.

Peter Stewart, Global President of IACC commented, “I welcome the Chateauform’ members to IACC and congratulate our European Chapter on their successful growth strategies. These wonderful Seminar Houses and City venues will be popular with meeting planners in the region and globally; they are a great addition to our membership.”
