The campaign answers the question of ‘where shall we go this year?’ with cruising, because one destination is not enough.
To mark the CLIA Plan A Cruise Month in October, Reader Offers Ltd, the UK’s No. 1 independent cruise retailer, is launching a new campaign to welcome new customers to the world of cruising. The #oneisnotenough campaign highlights the range of cultures and destinations that customers can experience on each cruise, appealing to those holidaymakers who can’t decide where to visit next.
The campaign answers the question of ‘where shall we go this year?’ with cruising, because one destination is not enough. It includes the launch of a short animated film available on a special #oneisnotenough website and also on the Reader Offers Ltd’s social media channels, which showcases the diversity of geography that cruisers can enjoy on just one holiday.
Special offers are also available via the campaign: any client booking a cruise with Reader Offers during October will receive Double Cruise Miles if they mention #oneisnotenough at the time of booking. New members signing up to the Cruise Miles loyalty programme will also earn 1,000 free Cruise Miles, plus competitions will be promoted via the www.readeroffers.travel/one-is-not-enough website and social media (using the #oneisnotenough hashtag) throughout the month.
Andrew Say, Commercial Director of Reader Offers Ltd said, “We are always keen to welcome new customers to the world of cruising and the ‘one is not enough’ campaign aims to show people what an amazing experience they can have on a cruise.
“Holiday time is extremely precious – we all live very busy lives, so the decision of where to go is often a tough one. No one wants to waste that valuable vacation time by picking the wrong destination, this is why cruises are perfect as you don’t have to limit your choice. We can take you to a number of countries and give you a number of cultural experiences in just one break.”
In a recent survey carried out on Reader Offers customers, 87% said that they love being able to visit multiple destinations in one trip. During one of the popular ocean cruises – Fred.Olsen’s Caribbean and Cuba voyage, travellers visit 10 ports and 10 islands, meanwhile Celebrity Cruise’s Mediterranean & Adriatic Cruise takes in seven ports over four countries – Spain, Italy, Montenegro and Croatia – giving guests exposure to four different languages and different cultures.
Andrew continued, “Cruising really does offer a holiday experience unlike any other. The unique ability to visit so many places on one trip, and to do so in luxury, is an experience that many of our customers get hooked on! Last year’s survey showed that 71% had cruised three or more times in the last three years. I hope that our latest campaign will intrigue those people who are yet to consider cruising as a holiday option. Get in touch and see how we can make one holiday feel like three.”
The #oneisnotenough campaign will be promoted and supported by social media posts.
