ADR: Shareholders’ Meeting approves 2022 Financial Statements and appoints new Board of Directors

Vincenzo Nunziata appointed new Chairman, and Marco Troncone new Chief Executive Officer.

FIUMICINO – The Aeroporti di Roma Shareholders’ Meeting yesterday unanimously approved the Financial Statements as at 31 December 2022. Consolidated net income was 45,1 million euros. At the same time, the shareholders appointed AdR’s new Board of Directors for the three-year period 2023-2025.

Marco Troncone was confirmed as Chief Executive Officer in order to continue the transformation and development of Fiumicino Airport, focusing on service quality, improvement and expansion of facilities, innovation and ESG integration, while Vincenzo Nunziata took over the chairmanship of the company in place of Claudio De Vincenti, who is now Chairman of Azzurra Aeroporti (Mundys Group), which controls the airport management company Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, to which the French airports of Nice, Cannes and Saint Tropez belong.

The Shareholders’ Meeting, in wishing the new directors well in their work, thanked the outgoing directors and in particular Professor De Vincenti for their commitment and the many positive results achieved over the years.

The new Board of Directors is composed of: Vincenzo Nunziata (Chairman), Marco Troncone (Chief Executive Officer), Mattia Brentari, Elisabetta De Bernardi di Valserra, Yannick Heyl, Antonello Monti, Katia Riva, Scott Schultz, Andrea Valeri.

Troncone, after an international experience gained mainly in management consulting and in the infrastructure investment sector, joined Aeroporti di Roma in 2011, initially dealing with Strategic Planning and Board Relations. Subsequently, he took on the role of Chief Financial Officer and has been Chief Executive Officer of Aeroporti di Roma since April 2020. He is also Vice President of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.

Nunziata, deputy Attorney General of the State and appointed as judge of the ordinary and amministrative courts by public competition, has served several times as Head of Cabinet of various dicasters, including the Ministry Of Public Administration and the Ministry Of Regional Affairs. He has also taken part in various commissions and bodies with advisory and control functions in public administrations and public bodies as chairman. He is university lecturer in administrative law.
