airBaltic joins over 75 airlines as part of Dohop’s ecosystem of airline partners to expand its network, tap into new demand, and enhance offers and options to its passengers.

airBaltic, Latvia’s flag carrier, has joined Dohop’s global network of airlines as it embarks on a significant expansion with additional Airbus A220-300 aircraft. In partnering with Dohop, airBaltic will be able to tap into a network of airlines and offer attractive onward destinations to its passengers. airBaltic, meanwhile, is well located in the Baltics to offer connectivity through its main hub, Riga, and its other bases, like Tallinn, Vilnius, and Tampere, to the rest of Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.

Eva Plakane, SVP Revenue Management at airBaltic: “airBaltic continues to grow, and we are glad to support our ambitious plans by teaming up with Dohop. The solutions offered by Dohop will allow us to expand our reach, enter new demand, and further increase our offer to the airBaltic passengers. We are looking forward to a successful, long-term partnership with Dohop.”

Dohop facilitates partnerships across airlines and empowers them to expand their networks through alternative interlining opportunities without the complexities and constraints of traditional interlining and codeshare agreements. Dohop’s solutions simply connect partner airlines with other carriers, including rail and ground operators, empowering them to expand their networks, increase revenue, and maintain control of their distribution channels. Dohop’s future-proof API-based technology automatically generates optimised flight options and fares and simplifies the booking process based on the departure and arrival airports of the airlines’ partners.

“We are delighted to welcome airBaltic to the Dohop ecosystem, as we support their ambitious growth plans with global connectivity across our portfolio of airline partners,” said Sarah Hanan, Chief Commercial Officer at Dohop. “The addition of airBaltic is strategically significant, as it not only expands our breadth of content in Eastern Europe but also continues to develop our full-service carrier product offering.”

Dohop facilitated connections will also protect airBaltic’s passengers in case of delays or cancellations that may result in missed connecting flights, with its 24/7 multi-lingual customer service team serving as a point of contact for passengers. Dohop’s services offer booking management and support in case of disruption, including finding and booking alternative flights, ensuring that travellers reach their destinations as quickly and conveniently as possible.
