PHL Food & Shops welcomes three retailers to airport, all operated by Hudson.

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) recently kicked off the new year by saying hello to three new retailers, each operated by Hudson: Brookstone, Rip Curl, and Sunglass Hut. The outlets are the latest additions to PHL Food & Shops’ notable lineup of more than 170 shops, eateries, and service providers throughout the airport.

Brookstone (Terminal F)

Best known for its broad inventory of electronics, a unique mix of form and function, Brookstone is PHL passengers’ new one-stop destination for all things convenient and clever.

Between its high-tech lineup of Bluetooth headphones from brands like Apple, Beats, Bose, and Sony, and its massive arsenal of portable massagers, gadgets, and other accessories, Brookstone’s micro-emporium has nearly every travel necessity imaginable, plus unexpected must-haves you never knew you needed.

Since 2019, Hudson has been the exclusive travel retailer for Brookstone and has worked to transform the brand into the ultimate electronics destination. Each store is staffed by Hudson team members who serve as knowledgeable brand ambassadors assisting passengers and providing hands-on product demonstrations.

“We’re both privileged and excited to introduce our passengers to three new outstanding options for high-quality retail,” said Mel Hannah, Vice President and General Manager of MarketPlace PHL. “We happily welcome Brookstone, Rip Curl and Sunglass Hut to PHL Food & Shops’ exceptional roster of airside retailers.”

Hudson, part of Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL), is a travel experience leader with nearly 1,000 stores in airports, commuter hubs, landmarks, and tourist destinations across North America.

“As the ‘Traveler’s Best Friend,’ Hudson offers a vast portfolio of retail concepts that travelers want so we can make the journey as exciting as the destination,” said Hudson Vice President of Business Development Bridget Biagas. “We are proud to be a part of the growing concessions program at Philadelphia International Airport and are grateful for our partnership with MarketPlace PHL, so we may continue to delight passengers through new retail shops and experiences.”

PHL’s new Rip Curl and Sunglass Hut are operated as a joint venture between Hudson and Erin Zwiercan, Operating Partner of Jack Duggan’s PHL Inc. The new Brookstone at PHL is operated as a joint venture between Hudson and Doris Robinson, President & CEO of Airport Services Group.
