Just in time for the busy Spring Break travel season, CLEAR, the secure identity company, announced it is launching its free virtual queuing service, RESERVE, at two of Spain’s largest airports – Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) in Barcelona and Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) in Málaga. Passengers at both airports may begin making reservations today before the lanes officially open to travelers on Tuesday, February 13th.
The programs at BCN and AGP will help passengers save time at airport security by empowering them to schedule a dedicated time slot in the airport security line for their party. In fact, surveyed travelers report that using RESERVE lanes saves them up to 30 minutes per use. CLEAR launched the pilot program at both airports to help all passengers, including CLEAR Plus Members traveling around Europe, more easily navigate the Spring Break travel season and get through security faster.
These new programs build on CLEAR’s network of free spot saving offerings that allow all passengers to avoid unpredictable long lines with a dedicated spot in the security line, improving the checkpoint experience for everyone, minimizing peak travel periods at airports, reducing wait times, and creating a better experience for all travelers.
About RESERVE at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN):
- Available to passengers traveling from Terminal 1
- Hours of operation: 4:00am to 12:00pm daily
- Reservations can be made online as early as 7 days in advance of a flight’s scheduled departure. Slots are available 90 minutes to three hours before a flight’s scheduled departure
About RESERVE at Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP):
- Available to passengers traveling from Terminal 3
- Hours of operation: 6:00am to 2:00pm daily
- Reservations can be made online as early as 7 days in advance of a flight’s scheduled departure. Slots are available 90 minutes to three hours before a flight’s scheduled departure
