Ethiopian Airlines and Zela Aviation agree to collaborate on ACMI and charter businesses

Over the next few months, the two companies hope to strengthen their partnership as they jointly realize their business goals of supplying more capacity to the European market from Athens for ad hoc short-term charters as well as ad hoc ACMI needs in the market.

Zela Aviation announces that it strategically agrees with the Ethiopian Airlines to promote ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) and Charter Availability of a 737-8 MAX unit during the Athens (ATH) Layover. Zela Aviation and Ethiopian Airlines will work closely to capitalize on the available market by using the airline’s plane layover.

Ethiopian four weekly flights to Athens are operated by the B737-8 MAX. This modern Ethiopian aircraft has a capacity of 16C & 144Y passengers. The B737-8 MAX boasts a state-of-the-art interior with spacious cabins ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for passengers offering an efficient and cost-effective solution for short to medium haul routes in Europe or Middle East.
