St. Kitts

The JetBlue flights will begin servicing St. Kitts on November 2 and will depart from the John F. Kennedy airport (JFK) every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday and will bring a new airline choice to a route that has met limited competition.

CHARLSTOWN, NEVIS – During Caribbean Tourism Organization Week in NYC, St. Kitts Tourism Authority announced that JetBlue will commence direct flights from New York to St. Kitts starting on November 2, 2023. This strategic alliance between JetBlue and St. Kitts and new flight service conveniently connects travelers to the captivating island and to its sister island of Nevis which can be accessed via a short and scenic ferry ride. The announcement was made at a special JetBlue ceremony, marking a significant milestone in enhancing accessibility to the pristine beauty of St. Kitts and Nevis.

The JetBlue flights will begin servicing St. Kitts on November 2 and will depart from the John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday and will bring a new airline choice to a route that has met limited competition. This expansion across the U.S. and Caribbean, including the service to St. Kitts will allow great service flights to customers in the airline’s New York, Boston, Orlando, and Los Angeles focus cities at an affordable rate.

“The introduction of this new flight option from New York City to St. Kitts offers direct access to our island from a major U.S. travel hub. With enhanced convenience, we anticipate that a greater number of American tourists will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the paradise we proudly call home. We are thrilled to welcome new and repeat visitors to experience the beauty and warmth of Nevis, as well as welcome back our diaspora,” expressed Devon Liburd, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority.

In recent years, JetBlue has created a strong network throughout Latin America and the Caribbean and as a leader in the hub of JFK airport. This new route to St. Kitts will continue to move JetBlue’s strategy of growth in under-served geographies while bringing more options to their customers.

United Airlines will also be extending their flight services to St. Kitts from November 2023 to August 2024 and Air Canada will increase their flight capacity by 35% for its upcoming season by upgrading to larger equipment.

As travelers seek refuge from the chilly weather in the winter season, the Nevis Tourism Authority extends a heartfelt invitation to those yearning for an extraordinary island experience. This year, visitors have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the irresistible essence of Nevis like never before, as the island transforms into a vibrant hub of festivals and special events.

Travelers can immerse themselves in the rich Nevisian spirit, as the island comes alive with a plethora of festivities and celebrations. From cultural extravaganzas to lively gatherings, there is something for everyone to enjoy. From a music enthusiast, a food lover, or an avid adventurer, Nevis promises to captivate and create lasting memories.
