New iconic and local favorites land at Boston Logan

Boston Logan will also be the first U.S. airport to debut a world-class duty free experience of global brands infused with local flavor and flair by Dufry, soon to be Avolta, which will also pay tribute to Boston’s neighborhoods and history.

BOSTON, MA – MarketPlace Logan, an affiliate of Boston-based New England Development and manager of the Boston Logan Concessions Program, announced that new arrivals including a second WahlburgersSal’s PizzaBoston Harbor DistilleryGachi Sushi and Noodles and several other openings will greet passengers at Boston Logan International Airport.

“As travelers’ needs continue to evolve, we are excited to bring even more iconic and local favorites, as well as innovative options to make the overall travel experience more efficient and enjoyable, which is something that we strive for here at Boston Logan,” said Michael DiCosola, President, MarketPlace Development. “These new arrivals will not only elevate the experience but will make a positive impression for those who make Boston Logan their first stop when visiting our city.”

Terminal E welcomes new arrivals from SSP America like American-style spirits, Boston Harbor Distillery, founded by Rhonda Kallman, a craft beverage industry thought leader and the pioneering woman in the beer industry. Travelers can sample whiskey varieties that have aged in the famous bonded barrel storage warehouse, along with small batch gin, rum, decadent liqueurs and even distilled beer from Sam Adams. The brainchild of Sal Lupoli, an East Boston native who opened his first shop in the 1990s, Sal’s Pizza will offer travelers on the go mouth-watering options including specialty pies, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast strombolis.  The popular Boston fast-casual burger favorite, Wahlburgers has opened a second Boston Logan location in the Terminal E Food Court and offers gourmet burgers, French fries, tater tots, and fun.  A second boutique iStore location, by InMotion, delivers a dynamic selection of the latest high-quality tech products and fashionable mobile solutions.

Leading a travel experience revolution while capturing the historical neighborhoods of Boston, Dufry will provide international travelers in Terminal E with distinctive duty free shops including:

  • An 11,000-square-foot walk-through concept and mixed-use space, made to feel like a destination in itself, featuring four shopping zones inspired by two of Boston’s most iconic neighborhoods, Back Bay and Jamaica Plain.
  • The Connoisseur Collection, the first of its kind in any U.S. airport, is an intimate drinking lounge and shop with a tasting bar and discovery table, inspired by Boston’s Rowes Wharf trading port.

As visitors make their way to Terminal C, travelers can experience fresh and healthy Japanese cuisine with Gachi Sushi and Noodles, featuring Japanese infused dishes like Frushi (fruit-sushi) breakfast rolls to the best-selling Triple Delight, travelers can enjoy sushi made with the freshest ingredients at any time of the day in a comfortable sleek atmosphere while dining in at Gachi. There are also Grab ‘N Go options with pre-packaged sushi rolls and appetizers to accommodate quick service.
