We are both proud and delighted to be the institution that will help the most significant number of scholars at once in the history of TEV through this worthwhile initiative. It holds immense significance for us, as we are confident that our support will enable young women to keep the Republic of Türkiye’s legacy alive indefinitely. In line with our unwavering commitment to maintaining the spirit of solidarity and supporting the regions affected by the February 2023 earthquake disaster, we have ensured that 25% of our scholars are selected from those impacted provinces. Dedicating all our efforts towards the betterment of our country, we remain committed to supporting our youth as they journey towards a bright future.”

Emphasising the importance of equal opportunity regarding quality education provision, the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) General Manager Banu Taşkın said, “Making quality education, a fundamental right for every individual, accessible to everyone regardless of gender is of great importance. At the Turkish Education Foundation, for 56 years, we have been striving to enable our youth to benefit from equal opportunities in education, supporting our students on their educational journeys. We continue our substantial efforts to create value in this field, basing our actions on the Sustainable Development Goals of Quality Education and Gender Equality. The contributions of valuable education-friendly institutions like Pegasus Airlines are both exemplary to society and provide immense hope for the future. With the projects we have implemented with Pegasus, we offer multifaceted support that goes beyond financial assistance to our female scholars, inspiring and guiding them. The contributions made to unlock the potential of our female students, including those affected by the February 2023 earthquake disaster on their way to realising their dreams, are priceless.
