US Airways sets off another round of its fare reductions by lowering fares to and from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport to 19 popular destinations. With this wave of fare reductions, US Airways has dramatically lowered prices in more than 1,150 markets system-wide. Customers will see leisure fares reduced up to 44 percent the carrier stated.

This latest round of price cuts is part of a fare reduction program that the new US Airways commenced after its merger with America West. Destinations seeing significant reductions to and from upstate South Carolina include eight California destinations such as Ontario and Oakland with advance purchase fares reduced 44 and 43 percent respectively. Las Vegas and Phoenix see reductions of 27 and 13 percent respectively.

Whether you are looking for a fast paced city or small town charm, you`ll find it all in the cities of Greenville and Spartanburg, said Tom Trenga, vice president, revenue management for US Airways. We`re very pleased to bring the citizens of these two communities lower fares to 19 destinations across the country. These new fares will allow Greenville-Spartanburg travelers the opportunity to support their hometowns, while giving them an affordable option out of their local airport.
