US Helicopter Corporation (“US Helicopter”) extended its agreement with Worldspan, L.P., to now include Worldspan Global Distribution Systems (Worldspan GDS). Travel agencies in 60 countries now have immediate access to US Helicopter fares and inventory, as well as ticketing capabilities.

US Helicopter provides scheduled airport transportation between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark Liberty Airport (EWR), the Downtown Manhattan Heliport near Wall Street (JRB) and The Atlantic Metroport at East 34th Street (TSS), affording its passengers:

  • Eight-minute shuttle service between Manhattan and New York City area airports.

  • Federally regulated TSA security clearance at Manhattan heliports.

  • Flight check-in to final destination when traveling aboard US Helicopter partner airlines, American Airlines at JFK or Continental Airlines at Newark.

Through the recent agreement, travel agencies in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia/Pacific and Latin America, can book traveler’s US Helicopter segment simultaneously with their air travel arrangements.

“Now, a much larger network of business travelers from around the world can take advantage of our eight-minute shuttle,” comments Jerry Murphy, chief executive officer and president of US Helicopter.
