Australian carrier, Virgin Blue, is featured this month on the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation`s fast-growing low cost carrier (LCC) industry website, Peanuts.aero as CAPA revealed. “We are pleased to highlight Virgin Blue among the hundred or so LCCs now operating globally and covered on industry website, Peanuts.aero, as the carrier launches its ambitious international and regional expansion”, said Peter Harbison, Executive Chairman of the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation.
The feature follows last year’s exclusive guest perspective by Virgin Blue in Peanuts! The Low Cost Airline Weekly, in which it unveiled its ‘New World Carrier’ strategy exclusively to Peanuts! newsletter readers.
The name ‘peanuts’ refers to the famous free inflight offering of the grandfather of the LCC movement, Southwest Airlines.
