Six reasons to just pack up and move to Nashville

These are just a few of the reasons that you might want to move to Nashville. If you’ve visited already, you’re probably not going to take much convincing. Locals can tell you that this is the place to be and raise for a family for sure.

For those who already live in Nashville, Tennessee, they don't need a list of reasons to move there and know it for the great place it is.

However, for those who have recently visited on vacation and are looking at how to break a lease in order to move to this great city and state, your excitement might not be shared by everyone in the fam. Some members might need a bit more convincing. With its small-town feel and friendly people, you'd think that would be enough for everyone to want to just pack up and move to Nashville, but some might need a push.

1. Fall family field trips
From nature trails to pumpkin patches, there's nothing like Nashville in autumn. If you're looking for something that the whole family can enjoy during the fall season, then taking a fall family field trip when you move is the right thing to do.

Your kids will have a ball, it's the perfect way to spend time as a family, and you might even learn something along the way.

2. The music
Of course, everyone knows that Nashville has the best country music you could ask for. You can also find jazz, blues, and rock in the fair city, and if they don't quite have the music you're craving at the moment, it won't be hard to find in Tennessee.

3. Excellent schools
If your kids are in school, or you're looking to further your own education, Nashville has some of the best schools in the state. Also, recently, an alliance was instituted that allows high school graduates to go to community college or technical school for free. Everyone knows that college can be expensive, so moving to Nashville might save you money, and ensure your child gets a great education.

4. The food
If you live in Nashville, or anywhere in Tennessee for that matter, you'll never go hungry. The state is famous for its excellent BBQ and for holding events featuring the delicious food wherever, and whenever they can. From the catfish to the sweet potato fries and from the hot fried chicken to the succulent banana pudding, the list goes on forever. Are you hungry yet?

5. State income tax is zero
If the previously mentioned things aren't enough to make you break that lease and head on up to Tennessee to settle, then the fact that you have no state income tax here might very well be. Of course, there are taxes on other things, so no one gets off scot-free.

6. The views and the weather
If you've visited the Nashville area already, then you already know how amazing the views are. Also, the average yearly high here is 70 degrees Fahrenheit, who wouldn't love that? Since the area has a pretty long fall and spring, you rarely have to deal with high temperatures in the summer or beyond cold temperatures in the winter.

There are exceptions, of course, but for the most part, the weather and the views are amazing. If you're sick of being buried in snow or can't stand the 100 degree summers in your area, then Nashville will be a welcome treat.

These are just a few of the reasons that you might want to move to Nashville. If you've visited already, you're probably not going to take much convincing. Locals can tell you that this is the place to be and raise for a family for sure. So look for ways to break that lease, pack your bags, and join America’s country music town.
