The Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers (HAPCO) is organizing its 3rd specialized PanHellenic Conference for Business Travel & Convention Tourism at the Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall and International Conference Centre in Greece. Distinguished academics and leading professionals from the Greek convention tourism will be there to present the industry’s trends, to participate in workshops and to discuss the future developments of the convention sector.
The Conference titled “Human Resources, Technology and Marketing: Factors of Success for Business Travel & Convention Tourism” will take place between 15th and 16th of March 2007, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism Development and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.
While the two former conferences of HAPCO analyzed the macro-economic character, this year’s conference will focus on more functional and general micro-economic issues that daily concern the professional who is occupied directly or indirectly in business travel and convention tourism.
The General Assembly of the Association will also take place during the conference as well as the elections for the new Board of Directors of HAPCO. An official dinner will follow for the celebration of the 10 years of HAPCO’s operation where personalities of the Convention Tourism and Business Travel will be awarded.
Greek is the official language of the conference and after the end of its works the participants will receive a certificate.
