SEGAS the Greek Athletics Federation organizes for the third time this year the ATHENS CLASSIC MARATHON EXPO 09, www.segas.gr

Where and When does the Expo
take place?

The Marathon Expo 2009 will take place at the Zappeion Conference and Exhibition Center, www.zappeion.gr.
Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November.
Both days the Expo will be open from 09:00 till 20:00.

Runners Registration and Distribution Centre

The Registration and Distribution Centre for the runners of the 27th Athens Classic Marathon will be hosted also at the Zappeion Conference and Exhibition Hall,
Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November.

Our intension is to deliver a total joyfully experience for every visitor, providing services like

How many will visit the Expo?

There will be about 15.000 visitors, both days of the Expo, plus the 12.000 runners from the Marathon race and from the 5 & 10 km road races.
Totally, about 27.000 visitors.

Getting to the Zappeion Exhibition Center?

Located in the center of Athens, the Zappeion Exhibition Hall and Park is surrounded by main roads like Amalias Avenue and Konstantinou Avenue (located the Panathinaiko Stadium), nearby is the Parliament building and behind Zappeion building are the National Gardens. If you have just arrived at the Athens Airport, you could take the express bus line to Syntagma Square, which is only 3 minutes walking distance away from Zappeion Exhibition Hall.

If you start from your hotel to visit the Registration center for the runners and the Marathon Expo, you could choose the Metro or the Tram and stop at the Syntagma Square.
