Winners announced at the World Boutique Hotel Awards Ceremony 2014

John Farrell of the Saffire Freycinet, Australia, named the World’s Best Boutique Hotel 2014.

The outstanding winners of the World Boutique Hotel Awards 2014 were announced last night at the glittering Awards ceremony held at the Montcalm Hotel, Marble Arch, London.

The ceremony brought together an array of boutique hoteliers, press, and industry insiders from Australia, Fiji, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Laos, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA and many more – making it a truly global event.

The awards were hosted by Kathryn Pretzel-Shiels of American Express and this year’s keynote speech was delivered by Edward Griffiths, Deputy Master of the Royal Household, Buckingham Palace.

Other esteemed guest presenters and speakers at the event included Harry Murray MBE, Chairman of Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa, Russell Kett, Chairman of HVS London, Professor Peter A Jones, Dean of the eHotelier Academy, Alex Buchanan co-owner of Catering in Scotland, David Coubrough, Chairman of Castle Hotel and Ciaran Fahy, Chief Executive Officer of Ellerman Hotels.
