Caribbean-influenced Candela MAREA is now available as a luxurious all-inclusive offering throughout elevated food and beverage experiences aboard Evrima.

MIAMI, FL – Candela Mamajuana Spiced Rum announce the debut of Candela MAREA, a bespoke limited-edition rum crafted exclusively for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Drawing inspiration from the elegant yachting lifestyle and vibrant Caribbean flavors, Candela MAREA blends premium, extra-aged Gran Reserva Dominican rum with all-natural, locally sourced ingredients. The exceptional rum is now available to guests aboard Evrima, the first of three custom-built superyachts from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Candela MAREA promises an indulgent experience drawing from the rich cultures and traditions of the Caribbean. Expertly blended in the Dominican Republic, the ultra-premium spiced rum is
made using ingredients free of artificial colors or flavors, which include extra-aged Gran Reserva rum, honey and spices. Its smooth sweet taste, enveloping aromas of rosewood and honey, and long, warming spice finish, immerse guests in the essence of serene waters and the relaxed ambiance of yachting.

Produced alongside Candela Mamajuana Spiced Rum, Candela MAREA is distilled from fresh-pressed local sugarcane juice, utilizing a process powered by renewable energy. This energy is sourced from the sugarcane bagasse, which is upcycled into biofuel at a waste-to-energy plant on the island. The rum is then aged in American oak barrels. Candela Mamajuana’s aging facility features a rainwater collection system which feeds the water purification plant, along with lamps and intelligent building materials that naturally cool the building without the need for air conditioning. These eco-conscious practices have led Candela Mamajuana to being named “The World’s Most Sustainable Rum” by the DailyMail UK.

Guests can discover the extra-aged rum throughout the yacht’s diverse culinary venues and bars.
