Bournemouth University organized once again, in partnership with the World Travel Market and TravelDailyNews, the BU Tourism Futures Forum @ WTM 2013 bringing international experts to discuss the hottest trends and developments in the tourism field. Professor Dimitrios Buhalis coordinated the panel and raised critical issues that would be effective the competitiveness of tourism industry in the near future.

Mr Jason Freezer, Head of Destination Management, VisitEngland discussed about the coordination of destinations towards enhancing their attractiveness and elaborated on the need for responsible tourism.
Mrs Magdalena Osmola, European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) discussed how the structure of the industry has been changed and the need of coordination between all the players.

Coordinating the online reputation will be critical for their brand and their competitiveness.
