Modern, clear and exciting design, the new Steigenberger Hotel Group Internet presence

The new Internet presence of the Frankfurt-based Steigenberger Hotel Group features a contemporary design, expanded functions and state-of-the-art web technology.

FRANKFURT, GERMANY – The Steigenberger Hotel Group has undertaken a full relaunch of its Internet presence. The umbrella portal steigenberger-world.com and the two brand sites http://www.steigenberger.com and http://www.intercityhotel.com all now boast a fresh new look.

The new Internet presence of the Frankfurt-based Steigenberger Hotel Group features a contemporary design, expanded functions and state-of-the-art web technology. Alongside its two brand sites steigenberger.com and intercityhotel.com, both of which have been revised, Steigenberger now also offers a newly created cross-cutting umbrella portal in the shape of steigenberger-world.com. This site enables guests to find the information they require on either Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts or InterCityHotel before being transported from the homepage to the booking system for their selected hotel via a few clicks of the mouse. A user-friendly structure makes it easy for visitors to reserve hotel rooms and to navigate their way through the various sections of the site.

All three websites feature a fresh and clear appearance with content that has been expanded and more closely aligned to target groups and customer needs. The homepage allows visitors to use a map to select a hotel, view available offers and check availability directly. The “My Account” function enables users to create their own profile and manage the reservations they have made. Gift vouchers have also been given a dedicated place and can now be ordered simply and conveniently online. The umbrella portal steigenberger-world.com includes a “News” section that provides all the latest information relating to the hotels and the company itself.  

Tailored to all end devices
The state-of-the-art technology deployed means that the websites automatically adapt to all major end devices and guarantee an unrestricted surfing experience to mobile guests by offering enhanced display quality on smartphones and tablets.

Additional features will be implemented shortly. These will include events calendars, table reservation facilities on the individual hotel pages, weather forecasts for the target destination selected and a currency converter. The Internet sites, which are available in German and English, already contain the relevant symbols linking with Steigenberger and InterCityHotel presences on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
