FITUR LGBT 2023

Under the slogan “Connecting with Diversity”, FITUR LGBT+ 2024 will be a space to foster collaboration and communication between tourism professionals, LGBT+ community leaders and travel lovers

MADRID – FITUR LGBT+, the section specialised in LGBT tourism at FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair organised by IFEMA Madrid from 24 to 28 January, will connect with diversity and explore new ways of promoting inclusive and sustainable tourism destinations.

At this year’s edition, FITUR LGBT+ also has a new location in Hall 9, occupying a larger and more accessible space, which will provide exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to connect, share ideas and promote a more inclusive tourism, where diversity is celebrated and respected. This change of location underlines the determination of this section to be a benchmark in the promotion of LGBT+ tourism and to contribute to the creation of tourist destinations.

Under the slogan “Connecting with Diversity”, FITUR LGBT+ 2024 will be a space to foster collaboration and communication between tourism professionals, LGBT+ community leaders and travel lovers. This edition seeks not only to celebrate diversity, but also to explore new ways of promoting inclusive and sustainable tourism destinations through the following content:

  • Inspiring Conferences: FITUR LGBT+ 2024 will feature a number of conferences and expert panels that will address crucial issues in the inclusive tourism industry, such as equal rights, experiences and the economic impact of this industry.
  •  LGBT+ Friendly Destinations: will present destinations around the world that are committed to offering authentic and safe experiences for all travellers, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
  •  Networking and Strategic Alliances: the fair will provide a unique networking platform to establish business relationships and collaborations in the promotion of inclusive tourism.
  •  Culture and Entertainment: will provide the opportunity to enjoy the weekend, cultural events, artistic performances and events celebrating the richness of LGBT+ culture and its contribution to the world of tourism.
