In a move to further enhance the quality of visitors to World Travel Market 2002 (WTM<.>) – London ExCel, 11-14 November 2002 – organisers Reed Travel Exhibitions are, for the first time, introducing a combined Exhibitor Nominations Programme encompassing all sectors of the travel trade industry.

To maximise business opportunities, exhibitors can now segment their target audiences by nominating senior buyers with purchasing authority for Meridian Club membership to attend on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 November through to Thursday 14, and key decision makers and influencers for the trade open days on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 November.

Once nominations are received – no later than 31 July 2002 – the World Travel Market team, as in past years, will contact each nominated individual by mailing an invitation to pre-register them.

Through the Exhibitor’s Nomination Programme, exhibitors nominate their key business prospects, including corporate buyers from both the UK and overseas, business and incentive travel buyers, conference and meeting planners, and key trade influencers who they would like to see attend World Travel Market.

Commenting on the enhanced Nomination Programme, Fiona Jeffery, Group Exhibition Director said: As the travel and tourism’s leading business event, World Travel Market prides itself that the event delivers quality leads to all our exhibitors, whether a main standholder or sharer.

Combining the Meridian Club and Trade Nomination Programme ensures that all exhibitors recognise the advantages of dividing their databases into two, with clients visiting on the appropriate days.

Our programme of events over the four days, of debates, seminars and press conferences will continue to reflect the variety of audiences that attend World Travel Market. Committed to tackling the key issues facing the industry we will be running – amongst a comprehensive programme of events – a dedicated seminar programme, Incentive, Conference and Business Travel and Environment Awareness days, a business lecture in partnership with KPMG and a Question of Travel hosted by Sue Barker.
