Miami Beach’s top beachfront hotel to launch Tala Beach Club, a new menu at WATR & more.
MIAMI BEACH, FL – The iconic 1 Hotel South Beach, recently voted one of the top resorts in Greater Miami Beach in Travel + Leisure’s 2023 World’s Best Awards, will undergo a major enhancement to its famed food and beverage outlets. Since opening in 2015, the exclusive property gives those visiting Miami Beach the ultimate resort experience with one-of-a-kind guest rooms and delicious cuisine all while focusing on a mission-driven luxury lifestyle. The hotel’s beach club will be transformed into Tala, a new beachfront restaurant, bar and lounge. Tala will immerse guests in an oceanside sanctuary, celebrating nature. The resort’s famed rooftop restaurant WATR will also be revamped.
Tala
The tropical beachfront venue formerly known as 1 Beach Club, will be transformed into Tala, a 50,000-square-foot outdoor oasis focusing on Mediterranean-inspired shared plates, precisely crafted cocktails and curated entertainment. Tala will open its doors in October 2023 after a redesign and rebrand. This new concept will feature sprawling daybeds, overstuffed pillows, time-tested textures, an outdoor bar and restaurant serving a new menu and thoughtfully crafted cocktails, and a VIP lounge for those in search of an over-the-top experience. Hidden beneath the swaying palms and ample umbrella shading, Tala will transport guests to paradise as they enjoy live beats and exciting entertainment while capturing 1 Hotel’s signature ethos of mindfulness and wellness. The truly 1-of-a-kind experience in South Beach will act as a gathering place for spiritual seekers, daydreamers and unconventional thinkers. Tala will offer guests a day to night experience with a once a month Saturday night party called Tala Nights. Guests will enjoy live music and performances underneath the stars for the ultimate beachfront party.
WATR + 1 Rooftop
Located at cloud level, WATR at 1 Rooftop offers unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean. The floating oasis will undergo a complete refresh giving guests an elevated nightlife experience. Debuting September 2023, guests will enjoy WATR’s new Japanese-inspired lunch and dinner menus. Open to the public for lunch and dinner, at night WATR is set to transform into a lively dinner scene complete with a DJ and live performances. Steps away from WATR, the pool on 1 Rooftop will also be updated with all new furnishings including completely refreshed poolside sky cabanas. During the rooftop updates, which will be taking place through mid-September, guests are encouraged to explore 1 Hotel South Beach’s other dining options including Habitat open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Neighbors and Drift- the hotel’s lobby bar.
