A combined Westin and Element brand hotel developments are to be built in Chantilly, Virginia as Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Access Hotel Advisors together revealed. Owned by Commonwealth Centre Investors, LLC, an affiliate of BPG Properties, Ltd., The Westin Chantilly and Element Chantilly Westfields will be an integral part of Commonwealth`s master planned development – Commonwealth Centre. Construction on both properties is scheduled to begin in May 2008 with openings slated for Spring 2009.



The Westin and Element brands will provide two of the most refreshing options for travelers to Chantilly, Virginia, energizing travelers with their unique perspectives on the travel experience, said Sue Brush, senior vice president, Westin Hotels & Resorts. Westin Chantilly will invigorate guests, leaving them more refreshed than when they arrived, while Element Chantilly Westfields will undoubtedly be the area`s most appealing extended stay hotel, allowing guests to truly thrive while on the road.
