A new Sofitel resort in Dubai

continues to grow its portfolio in the Middle East as it opens its sophisticated Polynesian themed resort, Sofitel The Palm Dubai this summer, 2013.

Located on Dubai’s must visit destination, the iconic Palm Jumeirah, the hotel boasts 361 island chic inspired guest rooms and suites, as well as 182 fully serviced apartments.

Nestled within the tranquil groves of the Palm Jumeirah, the resort is encapsulated by a private 500m stretch of pearlescent beach, enabling guests to indulge in breath-taking sea views.

Trumping a total of 100,000 square metres, Sofitel The Palm Dubai’s distinct French luxury offering is embraced by rich and iconic elements of Polynesian culture and civilization. With an organic architecture and lush vertical gardens created by the French botanist Patrick Blanc, the resort reflects a timeless spirit and tropical allure.

Guests can treat themselves to either the chic Luxury room, Junior Suite, Prestige Suite, Beach Suite, Opera Suite, the magnificent Beach Villa with rooftop terrace and pool, or the Palm Suite for the ultimate experience offering 4 bedrooms, top floor location and own signature terrace. For long stays, guests are invited to settle into one of the 182 apartments with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms ideal for families with children.

The culinary exploration of cuisines of the world at Sofitel The Palm Dubai includes Manava, an all-day dining adorned with Paul Gauguin and Charles Rennie Mackintosh copies; Moana, a contemporary seafood restaurant with a Polynesian facade including a sushi counter and a ceviche bar. Studio du Chef showcases modern French cuisine with a focus on Cheese and Wine.

The hotel’s signature steakhouse is Porterhouse restaurant & bar; Hong Loong is a gallery of art offering Chinese cuisine, authentic tea rituals in a Asian decor.

Conference, meetings, incentives, events and weddings are also available at the hotel, catering for up to 700 guests. The 2,500 square meters So SPA, encompasses 28 graceful spa rooms, providing traditional Tahitian spa treatments.
