Accor joins Instagram

By setting up its own official Instagram account, Accor continues its digital drive.

Accor Group increases its online presence by joining this photo-sharing application and fully-fledged social phenomenon.

Instagram: 200 million active users, including 50 million new members in the last six months alone! The photo-sharing application has successfully established itself as a social media must and is even become the favorite social network among teens, ahead of Facebook and Twitter (Piper Jaffray survey, April 2014).

By setting up its own official Instagram account, Accor continues its digital drive; the Group’s key objective is to promote its network’s and brands’ dynamism on a daily basis with photos of its hotels, teams and also of its CSR initiatives.

This is a logical step for Accor, which already has a strong presence on the social networks, with official corporate pages on Facebook (53,000 fans), Twitter (close to 3,000 followers) and YouTube. These sites showcase the Group’s latest news alongside with the Accorhotels and brands social media ecosystem.
