ARIA undergoes convention center refresh and opens new spaces for groups

Scheduled for completion the end of December 2015, upgrades to the 300,000-square-foot convention space will feature new media walls, high-tech furniture, charging stations, registration areas and more.

LAS VEGAS – New property developments at ARIA Resort & Casino create more reasons for groups to select the AAA Five Diamond and LEED Gold-certified resort for their next meeting. Recent enhancements include a convention center refresh, The Event Space at Crystals and two new restaurants, Carbone and Herringbone.

Scheduled for completion the end of December 2015, upgrades to the 300,000-square-foot convention space will feature new media walls, high-tech furniture, charging stations, registration areas and more. Four fully customizable media walls can be used for various options such as sponsorship displays, conference signage, meeting updates and news programming, while staying connected will be easy with new tech tables and charging capabilities throughout the space. Within the pre-function area, new furniture groupings will increase the seating capacity by 40 percent to accommodate over 200 people and allow attendees to collaborate and engage in conversations with peers in between meetings or catch up with emails.

“Since opening in December 2009, ARIA has been a top choice for convention and corporate business, and this refresh with special new touches allows us to further improve our attendees’ experience,” said Tony Yousfi, vice president of Sales for ARIA Resort & Casino. “The value of face-to-face meetings is evident by the growth and demand and we remain committed to providing the best of the best.”

Adjacent to ARIA, The Shops at Crystals is a journey through couture and cuisine and now includes 13,000 square feet of multi-level, flexible meeting space.  Able to accommodate up to 980 guests, The Event Space at Crystals overlooks ARIA’s colorful dancing waters of Lumia and gently cascading waters of the Focus Water Wall, providing a stunning backdrop to any occasion.

Culinary gatherings are an important part of any successful event itinerary. Within ARIA’s impressive list of 16 restaurants featuring some of the world’s most critically acclaimed chefs and restaurant designers are two exciting new dining options.

Carbone, a celebrated concept out of New York, opened its Las Vegas doors in October 2015. Classic Italian-American cuisine pairs well with unforgettable Captain tableside service, world-class sourced ingredients, and award-winning culinary craftsmanship. The restaurant is comprised of several distinctive spaces with their own personalities. A striking private dining room with one long table can accommodate up to 40 guests or can be divided into two smaller rooms. Other spaces include a semi-private White Room for groups of up to 30, The Blue Room with walls composed of tiles from New York subway stations seats up to 60, and The Red Room with a stunning floor-to-ceiling Murano Glass Crystal Chandelier can accommodate up to 105. Groups can book private events for breakfast, lunch, dinner and receptions.

Opening late December 2015, Herringbone will feature the first indoor, outdoor dining experience at ARIA. The patio, surrounded by a lush garden landscape, will provide the ideal backdrop to mingle and enjoy the California-inspired coastal cuisine from celebrated chef Brian Malarkey. The indoor dining room and outdoor patio will be able to seat up to 111, while the lounge will be able to accommodate up to 66 guests.

In addition to the new spaces, ARIA redefines the group check-in and check-out experience with its new mobile check-in so attendees can bypass the hotel lobby and head straight to their room or next meeting.
