The company currently operates nine locations in London, three in Edinburgh and one in Dubai.

Cheval Collection emphasises the importance of reputation as it continues to expand, after the group’s properties were highlighted in the Shiji/ReviewPro second-quarter guest experience benchmark.

The company’s first international property, Cheval Maison – The Palm, took a prominent spot in the rankings only six months after opening.

Cheval Three Quays featured at tenth in the five-star category in London, coming in just behind the Savoy, while Cheval Maison – The Palm was listed at number three in the five-star category in Dubai.

John Philipson, chief operating officer Cheval Collection, said: “London and Dubai are markets renowned for exceptional luxury stays and we are proud to say that these results are a testament to the dedication of our teams. Guest reviews are one of the most important metrics we measure, with reputation the key to creating true and lasting loyalty. Our high levels of direct bookings, at 60% on average across the collection, illustrate this strength and are also helping to attract investors to our product as we expand globally.”

Cheval Collection is planning to launch a third Cheval Maison property in 2025, which will be located in Glasgow.

Philipson added: “Guests have embraced the experience offered by serviced apartments, where they have the luxury of space and convenience, with high-end design, embedded in the local community. This study illustrates that serviced apartments are now a mainstream choice, whether guests are travelling for work, leisure, or both.

“As we expand around the world, we are drawing on our reputation of 40 years’ owning and operating serviced apartments to offer management contracts which are tailored to every owner and every site. As owners ourselves we know that one size fits all agreements never achieve the best results and we pride ourselves on having an eye for detail both in terms of contracts and operations.”
