Choice Hotels' Cambria Hotels & Suites brand arrives in Plano

New upscale property welcomes travelers to the Plano – Legacy area.

PLANO, TEXAS – Choice Hotels International, Inc. and O’Reilly Hospitality Management are officially welcoming travelers to the new Cambria hotel & suites Plano-Legacy. Located at 7500 Parkwood Blvd., the Cambria hotel & suites Plano-Legacy is conveniently situated just minutes from the popular Shops at Legacy and eleven Fortune 1000 company offices and headquarters.

This four-story, 84,000 square-foot hotel features 129 rooms all with separate living, working and sleeping spaces.  Guests can spread out in our oversized rooms and enjoy functional, chic decor and modern amenities such as a MediaHub plug-and-play station, which allows guests to connect their laptop, MP3 player, game console, digital camera, smartphone, or CD/DVD player hassle free. Guests can also feel a little pampered while traveling in the large spa-like bathrooms with walk-in showers.

In January, Cambria hotels & suites unveiled a new construction property prototype designed with the business and millennial traveler in mind. The brand’s new positioning “Cambria hotel & suites. Where everybody is somebody” focuses on the guest’s desire for quality service, unexpected delights during their stay, flexibility, and a light-hearted environment.

With more than 2,400 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and conference space the Cambria hotel & suites Plano-Legacy is perfect for business travelers who need space to work, but also want amenities that provide a sense of relaxation.  All four meeting spaces are equipped with high-tech audio and visual equipment and together can accommodate 110 people for banquets and up to 148 for conferences. The hotel sits in a prime location, less than 2 miles from businesses such as: Alliance Data, Cinemark Theatres, Dell Services, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Ericsson, Frito-Lay, HP Enterprise Services, Huawei, J. C. Penney, Pizza Hut, Rent-A-Center, Traxxas, and Siemens PLM Software.

Like all Cambria hotels & suites, the Plano-Legacy property features other fine amenities such as a contemporary bistro serving a dinner menu comprised of local specialties created by Chef Michael DeMaria; liquor, wine, beer and freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches; and a barista bar featuring coffee and a hot breakfast buffet. This property also features an outside pool complete with cabanas to help guests beat the Texas heat and complimentary wired and wireless high-speed internet access so guests can stay connected while on the go.
