DoveVivo launches its first fully-serviced offering for medium-to-long-term stays in Paris

PARIS – International living platform DoveVivo has launched its first fully-serviced property for mid-to-long-term stays in Paris.

The 22 apartments in the South Pigalle neighborhood of the city are aimed at corporate travelers as well as tourists looking for mid-term stays of at least 30 days.

It represents the first time DoveVivo — which provides solutions across the coliving, short-to-long term rental and student accommodation sectors — has offered a fully-serviced experience for medium to long-term stays in Paris, incorporating communal areas available for tenants’ use. All tenants have access to a generous coworking space, communal kitchen, modern gym, laundry and a private courtyard.

The rent-to-rent development will see its coliving subsidiary, Chez Nestor, and vacation rental brand ALTIDO working together to market and operate the property. DoveVivo already operates 850 rooms coliving and student rooms in the city as part of its network of 40 destinations across Europe.

The demand for high-quality, all-inclusive living solutions in Paris is increasing as the city competes with London to become the leading European banking hub, driving growing corporate travel demand. Post-Brexit, many European HQs have moved from London to Paris, and over the last 10 years, the French capital has become one of the world’s most innovative, start-up-friendly cities.

In January 2023, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) named Paris the “most powerful” tourism city in the world. It’s also anticipated that the upcoming Rugby World Cup in September 2023 and the Olympics in Summer 2024 will support growth in both corporate and leisure sectors.

DoveVivo in France

DoveVivo opened its office in Paris in 2020 under the leadership of Axelle Baillet, Country Director for the French market. The residential management platform strengthened its presence with the acquisition of Chez Nestor in March 2022, founded in Lyon in 2012 by Hubert Dubois and Louis Bonduelle. This investment positioned them as the leading French co-living provider with a portfolio of more than 1,800 beds in six cities.

This merger closely followed the 2022 acquisition of ALTIDO, one of Europe’s largest short-term rental operators managing over 2,500 properties in Europe, including a diverse portfolio of apartments, townhouses, aparthotels, and serviced apartments.

William Maggio, Co-Founder and Chairman of DoveVivo, comments: “The inauguration of this new building, of which we are particularly proud, is an example of how our living platform succeeds in responding to any need in the real estate market. It perfectly combines the experience and know-how of affiliates allowing us to offer an elegant home away from home for stays of a month or more. On the one hand, the property and customer management expertise of Chez Nestor by DoveVivo and on the other hand, the efficient and high-quality hospitality of ALTIDO.”

Will Parry, CEO at ALTIDO, comments: “The Parisian travel scene is booming. With more business travellers visiting the city than ever before, the time is right to expand our horizons and fill a gap in the market for high-quality rental accommodation. This property will uphold our values of providing world-class customer service and a premium hospitality experience, setting it apart from the competition.”
