BERLIN – SnapShot GmbH, ESSEC Business School and Duetto now offer on Coursera a Hotel Management: Distribution, Revenue and Demand Management Specialization bundle, aiming to help hotel managers to maximize business revenue. The courses are designed for undergraduate-level students interested in pursuing careers in hospitality management.
The new Hotel Management: Distribution, Revenue and Demand Management Specialization Coursera bundle by ESSEC Business School, SnapShot and Duetto, is designed to cover the basics of hotel demand management, distribution, and revenue management. Online classes are led by senior hotel industry executives and other industry experts, who will comment on a wide array of contemporary, and pressing, distribution, revenue and demand management issues.
“At SnapShot, we have always held education as one of our founding missions,” explained Martin Soler, SnapShot’s CMO. He added: “Since the start of the company we have attempted to help our industry and its future leaders with bootcamps and education. When we sat down with ESSEC’s team to discuss how we could get the content of our bootcamps out to many more hoteliers and students, a MOOC was the obvious choice. Working with Coursera and ESSEC to create this MOOC is a proactive contribution to the hospitality industry, and the right channel to make a difference, by helping hoteliers to achieve the true potential of their business.”
The Hotel Management: Distribution, Revenue and Demand Management Specialization bundle features three online courses, which can be followed at the student’s own convenience. These are followed by a Capstone Project, which, upon completion, prepares students to apply for an entry-level position in hotel revenue management, distribution, or e-commerce. Dr. Peter O’Connor, Dean of Academic Programs at ESSEC, had this to add about the courses:
“The courses are designed for undergraduate-level students interested in pursuing careers in hospitality management, or junior-level staff working in operations interested in socializing in these dynamic and developing areas.”
The Hotel Management: Distribution, Revenue and Demand Management Specialization courses can be completed in five months, or faster, depending on the schedule of each individual student.
