EVEN Hotels expands Texas presence with two new openings in Austin and Waco

Each property will feature elements of the brand’s latest refreshed prototype, where guests can now choose from three different room types containing varying exercise amenities – ranging from yoga mats to interactive spin bikes.

ATLANTA – EVEN Hotels – part of IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) – announces the opening of EVEN Hotel Austin Uptown Near The Domain and will soon welcome EVEN Hotel Waco – University Area to its portfolio later next month. The latest openings mark three EVEN Hotel properties across Texas – joining EVEN Hotel Shenandoah – The Woodlands, which opened in 2021.

The 126-room EVEN Hotel Austin Uptown Near The Domain, operating under Mopac Hotel Development LP, is located in the heart of the Texas capital, and the 132-room EVEN Hotel Waco – University Area, operating under Bridge Hotel Partners LP, is located downtown near Baylor University, the Waco Convention Center and Magnolia Market at The Silos.

The Global Wellness Institute recently reported that wellness tourism is projected to cross the $1 trillion mark this year – making it one of the fastest growing wellness sectors. Meeting this demand, EVEN Hotels plans to increase its national footprint by 35 percent by the end of 2024. EVEN Hotels currently has 26 properties open and an additional 33 in the development pipeline, including EVEN Hotel Bozeman Yellowstone Intl Airport and EVEN Hotel Miami – Sweetwater, which are set to open later this year, followed by EVEN Hotel Charlotte in 2025 – the first property to feature the brand’s refreshed prototype.
