Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts announced the appointment of Mr Alexander (Alex) D. Kompier in the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Golden Tulip Hospitality B.V., the owning company of Golden Tulip’s hotel franchising and management companies.
Kompier (35) originally joined Golden Tulip in 2002 in the position of Director of Finance and Administration. Prior to joining Golden Tulip, Kompier worked for the Dutch based Continuity Company and KPMG in a number of Controller positions in the Netherlands.
Alex Kompier will be based at Golden Tulip’s headquarters in Amersfoort, the Netherlands and will oversee all Golden Tulip’s financial divisions and investments. In his position, Alex will also be a director on the management board of Golden Tulip Hospitality B.V..
