Lovers of Greek food will definitely welcome the come-back of the Athenaeum Inter-Continental<.> Athens` Sunday Brunch which has been launched at the hotel`s Pergola restaurant since October 8th, 2000.



The hotel`s Sunday Brunch has been traditionally known to offer one of the most generous buffets in Athens. This year, there is even more to expect, as more than 65 chefs, currently working in the kitchens of the Athenaeum Inter-Continental Athens, are joining forces to present a Greek brunch, with authentic recipes from all over the country and Cyprus.



On the restaurant`s buffets the chefs present the finest traditional recipes such as: coq pastitsado, pies with home made phyllo and quail pilaf, while at the same time aiming to revive some of the most delicious local recipes that nowadays one tends to find more and more rarely: giaourtava from Florina, missoura from Macedonia, xistimeno from Veria, kelaidi from Larissa, giaprakia from Kozani, sofrito from Corfu etc.



Under the sponsorship of Ouzo Plomariou, the Greek Brunch takes place every Sunday from 12:30 to 15:30, featuring in addition live music. The brunch is priced at 9.900 Drs per person for adults, at 4.900 Drs for children between 6 and 12 years of age, while the entrance for children under 6 is free.
