Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City announces $30m. room renovation project

With $200 million in total capital investments and improvements by Caesars Entertainment in the Atlantic City market, debuting just in time for summer 2017.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Building on the recent success of its $125 million, world-class Waterfront Conference Center, Harrah's Resort Atlantic City announced plans for a $30 million guest-room & suite renovation, to be completed just in time for summer 2017. The room and suite upgrades are part of Caesars Entertainment's total investment of $200 million into its Atlantic City casino-resorts, which additionally includes future enhancements to Harrah's premier nightlife destination, The Pool After Dark, the resort's fitness center and its upscale food court.

Harrah's Resort will re-design and enhance 450 guest-rooms and suites in its Bayview Tower, partnering with Las Vegas-based design firm, Marnell Companies, to curate the in-room guest experience. Bayview rooms, which will boast approximately 600-square-feet of space, will offer fresh design elements, featuring rich hues of lavender and blue accent colors, contrasting white and gray tones, and contemporary furniture, including a vanity dressing area. Freshly-appointed, modern bathrooms will offer oversized showers, while select rooms will additionally offer luxurious baths and signature amenities.

Hard-wired for business-minded travelers seeking to be constantly plugged-in, all Bayview rooms and suites will be technology-rich with high-speed internet access and accessible charging stations, in addition to featuring 55-inch LG LED televisions. The tech-ready rooms will offer close proximity to The Waterfront Conference Center, which was recently awarded with a prestigious LEED Silver certification, the green standard for sustainable design.

"With world-class restaurants, Las-Vegas style nightlife and A-list entertainment experiences, all under one roof, along with the recent addition of our new, Waterfront Conference Center, we are thrilled to continue to enhance our resort offering by upgrading our guestrooms and suites for our customers," explained Rick Mazer, President of Harrah's Resort Atlantic City.  "Whether visiting for work or play, Harrah's Resort offers something for everyone, within a singular resort destination."

The upgraded rooms and suites will further complement the resort's destination-appeal among business and leisure travelers alike, enhancing Harrah's profile of first-class dining, entertainment and nightlife and its new Waterfront Conference Center, the East Coast's largest and most state-of-the-art meetings and event facility of its kind.

The project is on schedule to be completed by summer 2017.
