Hotel Amarano announces Peter Kolla as new General Manager

Industry veteran with deep Los Angeles ties to oversee luxury boutique hotel.

BURBANK, CA. – Hotel Amarano, the only Four Diamond luxury boutique hotel in Burbank, managed by StepStone Hospitality announces the appointment of Peter Kolla as General Manager. Kolla brings a strong leadership foundation with over twenty years in the hospitality industry. Kolla will oversee the property’s 132 guest rooms including 31 suites, three meeting and event spaces, and the hotel’s destination restaurant FYC Bar + Kitchen.

Kolla joins Hotel Amarano most recently from Crescent Hotels and Resorts where he was the General Manager at The Mayfair Hotel in Los Angeles. For nearly two decades, he served in multiple leadership positions across the country, including the Director of Operations at Four Points LAX and Associate Director of Hospitality at University of Southern California, and General Manager at Tower Bar at The Sunset Tower Hotel

With a passion for community, he previously served as an Executive Board Member with the Central City Association of Los Angeles. Kolla received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California Santa Barbara.
