Marriott International has committed to implementing VPViewer at participating hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa that already have Virtual Planner, thereby providing customers with a unique experience in the MICE sector, evolving the way hotels market event spaces.
The VPViewer app allows the hotel’s clients to open Virtual Planner generated links on their mobile devices, and see the custom-made setup rooms in 360? & 3D Virtual Reality. Breaking spatial boundaries, by using an accessible VR headset like Google cardboard the user will be able to look around and walk inside the room with a true sense of presence, and the feeling of being able to touch things. This way the participating hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa will provide its customers a realistic experience of how their event could be and a glimpse of their possibilities.
