Powersol is a solar powered, mobile device charging station, ensuring guests can charge up devices conveniently, sustainably, and quickly at MGM properties.

LAS VEGAS – MGM Resorts International has begun its rollout of Powersol, demonstrating that MGM continues to lead the hospitality industry by adopting relevant tech amenities and working with ground breaking companies like ZON.

Powersol's solar powered mobile device charging technology is integrated in to a commercial grade patio umbrella enabling hotels and guests to seamlessly "go green" while they charge up. Guests enjoy the pool longer because they can charge up on site instead of going back to their room.

Powersol has been installed at famed properties Aria Resort & Casino, Bellagio and MGM Grand, with more anticipated over the coming months.

Joyen Vakil, Sr. Vice President of Design & Development at MGM Resorts International touts "Powersol is an incredibly innovative product and our properties have enjoyed being able to offer a 'green' mobile device charging option to our guests. MGM is a leader in innovation for the hospitality world, and Powersol definitely fits in with our goal to innovate and provide convenient tech amenities to our guests."

"Working with MGM on this rollout is exciting for ZON.  As an up and comer in the solar, mobile charging movement, it is incredibly validating to have Powersol tapped as the solution for legendary MGM properties to keep their guests' devices charged up," adds Cameron Welborn-Wilson, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer.

In less than 18 months, Powersol has proven to be a commercial success landing some of the worlds biggest names as clients including:  Starwood Resorts Worldwide; Simon Properties; CBRE; Le Pain Quotidien; UCLA, USC and more.
