More new Greek hotels join HotelWorld

More Greek hotels and especially resort hotels from the Greek islands joined the electronic distribution system of HotelWorld<.>.
The total number of the Greek Hotels in the system is now 145 including the latest member Santa Marina<.> on the island of Mykonos. According to Mr. Panaretou, general manager of HotelWorld Greece, the bookings for Greece through the system of HotelWorld increased this year. Despite the crisis in Kosovo and the implications for the Greek tourism the bookings and the requests for Greece and the Greek Islands seems to increase. This increase is slightly lower than the expected one, but we believe that until the end of the summer the numbers will be really high, announced Mr. Panaretou.
Furthermore, Mr. Panaretou stated that the most important issue is that most of the hotels of HotelWorld are resort hotels on the Greek Islands and in the picturesque mainland.
The resort hotels seem to understand the importance of the electronic booking through the Internet and the Global Distribution Systems, GDS. Very soon the Greek hotels will be ready to face the competition of the electronic booking predicted Mr. Panaretou.
Among the hotels of HotelWorld is the following: Golden Coast, Mare Nostrum, Club Poseidon, Eden Beach, Santa Marina on Mykonos, Armonia, Minos Palace on Crete, Panorama Crete, Adonis on Mykonos, and Porto Naxos.
