Ohana Real Estate Investors announces start of vertical construction on Montage Healdsburg Hotel

Montage Healdsburg will sit on a secluded 258-acre site just a short drive from historic downtown Healdsburg.

REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. – Ohana Real Estate Investors announces the start of vertical construction in spring 2018 on Montage Healdsburg, a 258-acre resort in the heart of California's wine country. Owned by Ohana and developed by The Robert Green Company, the resort is expected to open in early 2020.

Montage Healdsburg will sit on a secluded 258-acre site just a short drive from historic downtown Healdsburg. The town of Healdsburg, renowned for its charm and vibrant community, offers an abundance of art galleries, antique shops, and acclaimed restaurants. Located at the intersection of three premier winegrowing regions – the Russian River, Dry Creek, and Alexander valleys – Healdsburg is perfectly situated with access to world-class wineries and provides the perfect backdrop for an iconic wine country experience.

Montage Healdsburg will feature 130 guestrooms, five-star amenities such as multiple pools and a full-service spa, and both indoor and outdoor dining options, including a multi-level main restaurant and outdoor bar and grill overlooking the resort's vineyards. A collection of full-ownership residences is also planned for a later phase of development. The real estate offerings, which will include single-family built homes as well as custom homesites, will be available exclusively through Ohana Realty.

"Montage Healdsburg will feature environmentally sensitive design that respects and highlights the unique qualities of the surrounding environment. With views of rolling hills and vineyards and a color palette inspired by the site, the resort will offer timeless design and a true sense of place," said Alex Hill, Executive Vice President of Development at Ohana.

The resort was carefully designed to sit lightly within the hillside setting and pay respect to the natural landscape. Sustainable development practices will minimize the resort's footprint and impact on the land, preserving many heritage oak trees. The wine country contemporary design and unique site, with varied views from expansive rolling hillsides to secluded oak woodlands, will serve to complement and highlight the iconic locale.
