Since opening their doors, the two hotels have come to define their respective destinations and remained crown jewels of the  Sina Hotels’ portfolio, a collection of 11 family owned and operated hotels.

First opened in 1874 and 1884 respectively, Sina Bernini Bristol in Rome and Sina Brufani in Perugia are celebrating two banner anniversaries in 2024: 150 years for Sina Bernini Bristol and 140 years for Sina Brufani.

To commemorate these two milestones, Sina Hotels has decided to celebrate in a quintessentially Italian manner, by throwing a unique event called the “Sina Hotels Express” spanning over different locations across multiple days. Taking place March 15th -17th, this event will feature a panoramic dinner at Il Vizio Restaurant set on the 8th floor of the Sina Bernini Bristol, which boasts the uniqueness of being the highest restaurant in the historic center of the Eternal City, and a memorable overnight stay at the hotel. The following morning Sina Hotels will host its valued Guests on board of the exclusive vintage train “Arlecchino”, thanks to a successful partnership with Fondazione FS Italiane, created to look after and manage the Italian State Railways’ vast historic heritage. The “Arlecchino”, meticulously restored to its former glory and named for the occasion “Sina Hotels Express” will depart from Rome to Perugia where a lavish black-tie gala dinner will take place at Sina Brufani. The multi-day trip will also celebrate Sina Hotels’ commitment to Italian craftsmanship and culture, with all aspects of the itinerary carefully curated as an unconditional demonstration of love towards Italy and Umbria specifically; such as an exclusive private experience with famed Italian fashion Maison Brunello Cucinelli, who will open the doors of the medieval hamlet of Solomeo where its headquarter is based.

“We are incredibly excited to be honoring Sina Brufani and Sina Bernini Bristol’s 140th and 150th anniversaries in such a special way that simply cannot be replicated,” said Bernabò Bocca, Chairman of Sina Hotels. “This trip is not only a celebration of both properties’ milestones, but it is also a testament to the enduring spirit of classical Italian elegance and hospitality which has defined Sina Hotels for over 65 years.”
