Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced a new one-stop shop vacation-planning tool. SPG Vacations allows guests to easily create their own customized travel package, complete with hotel, airfare, car rental and destination activities at Starwood`s St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Westin, Four Points by Sheraton and W hotels around the globe.

Guests can use SPG Vacations to easily arrange a myriad of destination activities and services such as snorkeling excursions in Maui; swimming with dolphins in Cancun; dinner at the Eiffel Tower and a cruise on the Seine in Paris; a Sex and the City tour in New York City; or a visit to the Vatican in Rome.

Earn 1,000 Starpoints Per Night with Special Introductory Offer

SPG Vacations is the only vacation package program that allows members of Starwood Preferred Guest to earn Starpoints – a lucrative 500 points per night – plus enjoy in-hotel member benefits. SPG Vacations packages also count toward elite qualification. As a special introductory offer, members who book an SPG Vacation by December 15, 2004 for stays through March 31, 2005 will earn 1,000 Starpoints per night and receive a $50 savings on their package.

Guests may book their vacation packages by visiting SPGVacations.com or calling 1-866-218-4565.

Dynamic packaging is the fastest growing segment of online travel and we want to offer our customers robust content, lots of choices, and, of course, great value, said Tom Botts, Vice President, Global Leisure Sales & Strategy. SPG Vacations was developed to serve consumers who want to buy multiple travel components at one time directly from Starwood on our branded websites such as Sheraton.com and Westin.com.

SPG Vacations Partners with EzRez Software

When developing SPG Vacations, Starwood chose to partner with EzRez Software, a new Hawaii-based technology company that unlike the more established electronic providers allows Starwood to control pricing, inventory, distribution and customer data. This arrangement also ensures that customers will benefit from better content, full Starwood Preferred Guest benefits and competitive pricing.

We`re excited about this new technology we`ve developed that enables different travel suppliers to work together to sell bundled packages directly to customers, which is increasingly how savvy consumers prefer to purchase travel, said Tina Fitch, CEO of EzRez.
